MNPS Renews LEAD Southeast Charter for Ten More Years
LEAD is excited to share that the Metro Nashville Public School Board voted to renew the charter for LEAD Southeast for ten more years.
Emma Mac, Genevieve Byrd and the staff at LEAD Southeast are examples of the dedicated work that happens every day across our network and we celebrate that MNPS recognized that work and affirmed it with the renewal.
Over the past ten years, LEAD Southeast grew to a school of more than 900 students who consistently show student growth year after year. The first class of LEAD Southeast seniors graduated in May. We are confident those first alumni and every student at the school is ready for college and ready for life.

Every staff member at LEAD Southeast middle and high school contributed to the school’s success. And, over the past month, many of the families currently enrolled at LEAD Southeast took the time to email members of the MNPS board to encourage the renewal. LEAD would like to thank each person for their efforts.
Congratulations to LEAD Southeast on a job well done! We are looking forward to ten more years of success.
