Celebrating Who We Are: LEAD Public Schools Honors Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15-October 15
LEAD Public Schools is proud to serve a diverse community of families from all over the world. This Hispanic Heritage Month, our network came alive with vibrant cultural celebrations to recognize and celebrate the rich histories, traditions and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
From sharing authentic food to performing cultural dances, each LEAD campus found unique ways to celebrate the cultures and heritage that shape so many of our students, staff, and families.
Here’s a look at how our schools celebrated throughout the month:
- LEAD Cameron hosted a spirit week featuring
jerseys, flag colors, and favorite Hispanic icons, a family Lotería night, and a school-wide cultural celebration highlighting traditional dances, flags, and different Hispanic countries. - LEAD Academy celebrated with a spirit week featuring jerseys, flag colors, and favorite Hispanic icons, a family Lotería night, and a school-wide cultural celebration showcasing traditional dances, flags, and Hispanic cultures.

Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize the cultures, histories, and traditions that shape our school communities. Through these celebrations, students had the opportunity to share their heritage, learn from one another, and strengthen connections with classmates, teachers, and families.
At LEAD Public Schools, we are proud to celebrate the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our students and families, not just during Hispanic Heritage Month, but throughout the school year.
