At LEAD Public Schools, we believe in partnership between home and school. Our families are powerful advocates for LEAD’s mission, and we know great things are possible when we partner together.
We have several opportunities for families that are interested in getting involved with LEAD’s advocacy efforts to ensure our students have everything they need to be successful.
LEAD Parent Advocacy Council (LPAC)
The LEAD Parent Advocacy Council (LPAC) brings together family representatives from across our schools to strengthen network-wide family involvement. Council members share their personal experiences, articulate the family journey through storytelling, provide feedback, and discuss key topics affecting students and families.

Letter of Support for Charter Renewals
Each of our schools is required to apply for a renewal of its charter agreement every ten years. Family support is an important part of the charter renewal process, and we encourage families who would like to show their support for their child’s school to write a letter of support.

Registering to Vote in Upcoming Elections
Elected officials make decisions every year that impact charter schools, which is why it is important for families to be engaged in the election process. Voting in upcoming elections is a great way for families to use their voice to support their child’s educational journey.

Parent Engagement – Recruitment, Enrollment, and Family Engagement
At LEAD, we believe strong partnerships are key to keeping our schools fully enrolled and thriving. Throughout the year, we host retention events, recruitment activities, customer (family) experience initiatives, and network phone banking to support our campuses. It is our hope that with your support, we can ensure that families not only apply and enroll, but they have a positive family experience with us while enrolled at LEAD.
