We’re Hiring! Be a LEADer in 2022-2023
At LEAD, we believe hard work and outstanding achievement should be rewarded. That’s why we have a performance-based compensation model linked to the TEAM evaluation. Each year, LEAD teachers can earn up to a 10% salary increase. Since implementing our program, the average teacher raise was 5.5% annually. Our highest performing teachers earned a 9.5% raise.
In addition to financial compensation, LEAD offers many opportunities to grow. We develop great teachers with a culture of continual growth. This includes:
- A dedicated coach: One instructional coach for every 6-8 teachers to provide regular support.
- Culture foundations: We help teachers build and maintain positive classroom environments.
- Great teammates: We build teams around our teachers so they never do this work alone.
After one full year of employment, we offer 16 weeks paid leave for new mothers and primary caregivers. LEAD strives to be one of the best places to work in Nashville and invites you to explore more on our website.
“I chose to work at LEAD because their mission aligned with why I teach,” said Jacob Maestri, teacher at LEAD Academy. “It also seemed like a place invested in developing me as a teacher. I wanted to get better at my craft and LEAD has shown me time and again that that is a priority for them.”
If you want to be rewarded for the hard work you’re already doing to prepare students for college and life, apply to join us at LEAD: https://leadpublicschools.org/join-our-team/.
