The Tennessean recently ran a Letter to the Editor penned by a group of charter school Board of Director chairs, including Mr. Dwayne Tucker, LEAD’s Board chairman.

“As proud volunteer board chairs of Nashville public charter schools, we collectively stand ready and hope that every Nashvillian will join hands in partnership so that every child can receive a high-quality, equitable education,” the group of nine leaders wrote. “In that spirit of collaboration, we would like to clear up some common misconceptions about charter schools.”
