LEAD Celebrates 8th Grade Graduates with Special Ceremonies, Parades

LEAD’s four middle schools celebrated the achievements of their 8th graders with special graduation ceremonies and awards throughout the final days of the school year. This milestone marked the end of four years of hard work in middle school and the beginning of an exciting new chapter: high school.

Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

LEAD Brick Church

LEAD Brick Church hosted a virtual promotion ceremony and a drive-thru parade. Leading up to graduation, students and staff celebrated their last day of school with a field day and a staff versus scholar kickball game.

“I think my favorite part was seeing the faces on the scholars and their family members during the drive thru. It’s been a hard year!” said Amanda Bigalk, Brick Church counselor. “It was incredibly touching to hand a scholar their certificate and see their eyes light up. They were holding proof that they completed the year, and middle school, and were heading on to high school.”

LEAD Cameron

LEAD Cameron’s faculty and staff cheered on their 8th grade grads in a special drive through ceremony. The students also received honors during the 8th grade promotion banquet including Ethos Awards, Panther Pride Awards, and Top 10 GPA awards.

LEAD Neely’s Bend

LEAD Neely’s Bend staff literally rolled out the red carpet for its 8th grade graduates. Faculty, staff, and their younger classmates cheered them on as they showed off their caps and gowns in a parade through the hallways.

LEAD Southeast Middle

Families decked out their cars with balloons, posters, banners and streamers and held an impressive parade at

LEAD Southeast. The grads drove through the school parking lot decked out in the cap and gowns to receive their8th grade completion certificates.

Middle school may have looked a bit different than our LEADers anticipated, but they’ve made the best of it and continued to achieve at a high level.
