LEAD Celebrates Nashville Leaders Throughout Women’s History Month

To celebrate Women’s History Month, LEAD is recognizing the incredible women who make an impact in the Nashville community and beyond. These women embody the LEAD Ethos in their life and works and prove to be: Committed, Disciplined, Self-Reliant, Service-Minded, and Courageous. They provide an example to us of what it means to be a strong community leader. 

Becca Stevens

  • Creator of Thistle Farms, a non-profit that helps women survivors recover and heal. 
  • Founder of 8 justice organizations
  • Author of 10 books

Renata Soto 

  • Co-founder of Conexión Américas – a non-profit that supports more than 8,000 immigrant families every year in their journey to become an integral part of Nashville’s social, cultural, and economic vitality
  • Fierce advocate for cultural growth 

Tracy Kornet 

  • Award-winning anchor, host and writer for WSMV-TV
  • Member of 2018 Class of Leadership Nashville
  • Volunteer at the Sexual Assault Center of Nashville
