Two LEAD Academy High School students were recently recognized for their outstanding artwork by the Cheekwood Museum of Art via the Scholastic Art Competition, in its 25th year.

Junior Jeannette Irakunda placed in the competition with a Silver Award and will be recognized by the Museum at the 25th Annual Scholastic Art Awards on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Cheekwood Botanic Hall. Senior Robert Fairley received two honorable mentions and a certificate for his work.
