School Transition Information for LEAD Brick Church Families
In February, the Tennessee Public Charter School Commission (TPCSC) voted to deny LEAD Brick Church a new charter agreement. LEAD Brick Church’s current charter agreement ends on June 30, 2024, and the school will return to MNPS’ operation on July 1, 2024.
School Options for LEAD Brick Church Families
There are several school options available next school year for families who wish to remain a part of the LEAD family. LEAD remains committed to the work we are doing with our LEAD Brick Church students, and we invite you to exercise your choice by joining us at one of our other campuses:
Academic Results
Both LEAD Neely’s Bend and LEAD Cameron have a strong track record of significant student growth. Over the last two school years, both LEAD Neely’s Bend and LEAD Cameron earned a Level 5 on the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System, which is the highest possible level of academic growth.
Transportation
We will provide transportation for LEAD Brick Church families who are interested in enrolling in both LEAD Neely’s Bend and LEAD Cameron. Once you complete an application, bus information will be made available based on your address.
Family Support
Families will have access to the same set of support services they received at LEAD Brick Church at any of our other campuses. Learn more about our family support services here.
How to Enroll
To apply to our schools, families must fill out a simple, online application through our enrollment system called Schoolmint. Families are also welcome to stop by the school and Ms. Vaden can assist them with enrollment.
Once an application is successfully submitted, applicants will be offered a seat to attend one of our LEAD Schools, and subsequently go through the registration process, also through Schoolmint.
