LEAD Public Schools

LEAD’s five teachers comprise 10 percent of the full list of 50 honorees for the second straight year! This year’s award winners were honored for their outstanding work in one of three areas: student growth, instructional excellence and teacher leadership.

“Our Blue Ribbon teachers are outstanding role models for both our students and their peers,” said LaVoe Mulgrew, Head of Schools for LEAD Cameron and LEAD Southeast. “We are thrilled they have received this prestigious award. Not only are they impressive classroom instructors, but they also care deeply for their students’ well being. They share a commitment to our mission to prepare all of our students for college and life through rigorous instruction as well as by building trusting, positive relationships with their students.”

This is the second straight year that LEAD Public Schools has had five teachers recognized as Blue Ribbon winners.
