What We’re Thankful For: Our LEADers Give Thanks

As we enter the season of giving thanks, we recognize that we have much to be grateful for at LEAD Public Schools. Our teachers, leaders, staff, students, and families inspire gratitude all year round.

We asked our LEAD family what they are especially thankful for this year. Here are some of the highlights.

Hannah Sparks

“This year, I want to say thank you to my LEAD family. LEAD has given me the opportunity to build strong relationships, strive for excellence with my students, and grow both professionally and personally.  I have found a place that truly supports me in all my endeavors, and I am so grateful for that. Thank you LEAD!”

through Crew, Community Gathering, pep rallies, spirit weeks, and grade-level competitions. I look forward to more time celebrating our students’ accomplishments throughout the year!”

-Ryan MacDonald, Assistant Principal of Students, LEAD Neely’s Bend

“Each year I find myself more and more thankful for the students and staff at LEAD Academy High School. It’s such a special place to spend your day every day. My son and I talk about what we’re thankful for every evening when we come home, and I often say as one of my thankfuls: ‘the people I work with.’ That includes both students and colleagues; you couldn’t find a better place to learn and grow than our school.”

-Maggie Sneed, Principal, LEAD Academy

“I have nothing but thanks and best wishes for everyone who is part of the LEAD Neely’s Bend family. Our school has been blessed to be surrounded by humans with big hearts who go through any obstacle in order to support those who need it most.”

“Family and friends are closest to my heart and that love keeps me going. I am also thankful for my Cameron family and students. I have been here two years now, and every day I wake up excited to see my students and work with my wonderful team. I am a part of the ExEd Para team, and I would not ask to be a part of a better group.”
