LEAD Public Schools hosted a series of back-to-school orientations and open houses at our four locations across the city, beginning with a new student orientation for fifth-graders at LEAD Southeast at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.

The sessions took place as follows:

Tuesday, July 26: New Student Orientation for LEAD Southeast 5th-graders at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 27: LEAD Academy Open House for 10th-12th grade at Cameron (1034 First Avenue South) for students and families from 5 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, July 28: LEAD Southeast Back-to-School Night for returning students and families at 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 28: Brick Church BBQ at 6 p.m. for all students and families.

Thursday, July 28: Back-to-School Orientation at Neely’s Bend at 6 p.m.

Thursday, July 28: LEAD Academy 9th-grade student orientation from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.; parent orientation from 5 to 6 p.m.

Monday, August 1: Cameron is hosting back-to-school popsicle parties at elementary feeder schools (Fall-Hamilton and Whitsitt Elementary schools; an alternate location will be announced shortly for Glenview). Students who attend receieve a 10 percent discount on uniforms.

Wednesday, August 3: the 2016-2017 School Year begins.
