LEAD Southeast High Announces New Principal for 2025-26 School Year

LEAD Public Schools has selected Meghan Stowe as LEAD Southeast High’s new principal for the 2025-26 school year. She currently serves as LEAD Public Schools’ director of social studies.

“Ms. Stowe’s knowledge as a former principal at LEAD Neely’s Bend, as well as her experience leading at the network level, will ensure a consistent vision as LEAD Southeast High looks to continue building upon its success next school year,” said Dwayne Tucker, CEO at LEAD Public Schools. “This smooth transition in leadership exemplifies LEAD’s continued commitment to developing leaders from within the organization, and I am thrilled to see another leader step up into a new role.”

Stowe first joined the LEAD team in 2015 as a 7th grade social studies teacher at LEAD Cameron. Since then, she’s held the positions of both instructional coach and dean of instruction at LEAD Cameron, as well as assistant principal of instruction and principal at LEAD Neely’s Bend. Stowe brings 16 years of education experience, including high school instruction, to her new role.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be joining LEAD Southeast High as the new principal,” said Stowe. “I can’t wait to work alongside such a dedicated and passionate team to create a warm, inclusive environment where every student feels celebrated and driven to follow through on their goals. Together, we will cultivate a school culture centered on growth, perseverance, and preparing our students for success in college and their future careers!”

Over the course of the rest of the semester, Stowe will work closely with current Principal Hinnant to ensure a smooth transition for the 2025-26 school year. She will officially begin her new role on July 1.
