LEAD Public Schools Announces New Chief Operating Officer and LEAD Academy Principal
LEAD Public Schools has selected Dr. Tony Majors as its new chief operating officer. Dr. Majors currently serves as principal at LEAD Academy.
Dr. Majors brings more than 30 years of experience in education, with the majority of his career focused on leading and supporting schools to maximize growth and effectiveness of systems. His background in turnaround work and district-level leadership makes him uniquely qualified to lead the network’s operations to ensure we create an environment where our staff and students can be successful.
Maggie Sneed will become the new principal at LEAD Academy. She has been a part of the LEAD Academy team since 2014, serving most recently as the assistant principal of instruction. Maggie’s knowledge as a long-standing leader at LEAD Academy, as well as her experience under Dr. Majors’ leadership, will ensure a consistent vision as LEAD Academy looks to build upon successes from last school year.
