LEAD Brick Church Wins All City Basketball Championship
Congratulations to the LEAD Brick Church boys basketball team on winning the All City Boys Basketball Championship! The Bears beat Oliver Middle School 45-40 in the final game Wednesday night.
“Our boys played with a brilliant intensity that kept Oliver from taking the lead. Our athletics staff exemplified the LEAD ethos of commitment through the tireless efforts throughout the basketball season,” said LEAD Brick Church Principal Karl Wendt. “These victories show that our incredible students and staff are the very best in the city of Nashville.”
“This season has been one filled with many trials and tribulations, but like a BRICK we are hard to break,” said LBC athletic director Kiana Hughes. “As the Athletic Director I learned quickly that winning is a natural goal of excellence for LBC and that we take precedence at all times to continue to enhance the educational value of all contests.”
