Replace fear over school conversion with collaboration
Ashley Frasier, currently serving as an instructional coach for LEAD Public Schools submits an Op-Ed to the Tennessean for students, families, and community members of the Neely’s Bend Community.
Ms. Frasier states, “On Dec. 12, the ASD announced that Neely’s Bend Middle Prep would become the city’s latest charter conversion school. I encourage the Neely’s Bend community to do as I did: open your ears, open your mind and hearts to the possibilities that a conversion school offers. It is no “magic pill,” but with conversation and collaboration – great opportunities for your students lie ahead.”
