LEAD Academy Move to Cameron featured in The Tennessean
Thank you, Jason Gonzales and The Tennessean, for today’s coverage of our LEAD Academy High School move to Cameron and what it means for our network and the Cameron Alumni Association.
We are proud to continue to the legacy of LEAD Academy — a 2015 Reward School with the last three senior classes earning 100 percent college acceptance — at Cameron, a 2014 Reward School in its own right and the first successful conversion school in the state of Tennessee.
We are beyond appreciative of the support of the Alumni Association and we are proud to carry on the school’s legacy. As Mr. Ronnie Johnson said in The Tennessean, “My hope is the students that go here will have the same attitude 20 years from now that we had about going here. It was a caring environment.”
We couldn’t agree more.
