MNPS Renews LEAD Cameron Charter for Ten More Years
LEAD Public Schools is excited to share that the Metro Nashville Public School Board voted to renew the charter for Cameron Middle School for ten more years.
Principal Kate Ring and the staff at Cameron are examples of the dedicated work that happens every day across our network.
Cameron has made significant progress over the past ten years, moving from a bottom 5 school to a school now known for academic excellence. They’ve been recognized as a reward school three times (2014, 2017 and 2018).
Every staff member at Cameron contributed to the school’s success. And, over the past month, many of the families currently enrolled at Cameron took the time to email members of the MNPS board to encourage the renewal.
Congratulations to Cameron on a job well done! We are looking forward to ten more years of success.
