LEAD Supports Families with Serve Others Stations
At LEAD, we believe that meeting students’ needs — academically, physically, and emotionally — ensures success.
After the tornadoes struck the Nashville community in March of 2020, LEAD established the “Serve Others Stations” to support families and staff who need assistance with anything ranging from food, toiletries, cleaning supplies and internet connectivity. Today, thanks to support from donors, community partners and committed volunteers, LEAD launches the third year of the Serve Others Stations.
Serve Others Stations help LEAD play a role in the resilience, strength, and courage that our families exemplify daily. Because even in hard times, LEAD families find a way to make it work. LEAD as a network is proud to partner with families by providing services when needed. We consider this service a part of meeting the needs of families and meeting them where they are.
“Despite the circumstances they may face, our families show remarkable resilience, self-reliance, and courage supporting their children’s needs and dreams,” said Director of Enrollment and Family Engagement, Corey Burton. “Our families inspire me daily! It’s our hope that the LEAD Serve Others Stations can provide some support and relief, letting our families know that we are there with them every step of the way.”
LEAD strives to be a family that leans on each other during trying times.
LEAD families and staff in need of assistance complete this form. Members of LEAD Family Engagement team will follow up to see how to best meet the needs and/or connect recipients with the right resources.
