An Emerging K-12 Pathway: The Future of Elementary at LEAD Public Schools
At LEAD Public Schools, we believe that students’ path to success starts early, which is why we are pursuing two new additions to our network of schools – LEAD Southeast Elementary School and LEAD Cameron Elementary School.
LEAD Public Schools is a Nashville-based charter school network that operates five schools – both open and zoned enrollment – in grades 5-12. Our goal is to create a consistent K-12 pathway for families by offering high-quality elementary school options that feed into two of our existing middle schools – both of which are leading their neighborhood cluster in student growth and scoring the highest overall proficiency score for their enrollment zone when compared to MNPS’ zoned school options.

LEAD elementary schools will have a non-traditional approach to student discipline. Our goal is to implement a proactive approach to student discipline and empower our scholars with mindfulness practices to promote resilience and emotional well-being.
We will not let achievement gaps exist for our elementary students. Our academic model drives positive outcomes and embraces a curriculum that is designed to push every student forward.
